Jacob Lake Inn (official site) is about 40 miles north of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (which is the less-touristy, higher-elevation, cooler-weather side of the Canyon). It's an inn, some cabins, a gas station, a restaurant, a convenience store, and a summer job for bunches of Utah and Idaho college students. I worked there during the summers of 1995 and 1996. Most of these pictures were taken during days off at the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Cedar Breaks, Lake Powell, and other (somewhat) nearby areas.
